Our Expectations

Punctuality

Please arrive 10 minutes before the session's start time. This allows you to change and be poolside ready before the session starts, ensuring you are fully prepared to participate.

Hydration

Stay hydrated! It is vital to drink water regularly, especially during swimming, as you may not always be aware of how much you sweat. We recommend consuming 4-5 litres of water per day to replace fluids lost during training and activities properly.

Politeness and Respect

Be respectful and considerate to everyone at the club, including coaches, volunteers, and fellow swimmers. Many of the people behind the scenes dedicate a significant amount of time and effort to ensure the club runs smoothly. Their hard work may not always be visible, but it is vital to the club’s success. Your appreciation and respect are crucial to maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Commitment to Training

As a competitive club, we expect all swimmers to train diligently and take part in competitions. Our coaches dedicate time and effort to creating training sessions that aim to enhance your swimming performance. To see real progress, you must give your best during training. Competitions help us measure growth, so it’s important to participate regularly to track your improvement.

Team Spirit

Swimming is a sport that thrives on inclusivity and teamwork. Be friendly and approachable to all members, regardless of whether you are friends outside of training. A positive and supportive atmosphere contributes to the success of the entire club.
